In this Backstage Pass, we’re walking through how to add Venue Staff in Step 2 of the Marquee Builder.
Before adding staff, make sure your Venue is already created or attached to your Marquee.
Venue Staff is always tied to a specific venue, so this step is essential. If you try to create staff first, you’ll see a reminder to complete your venue setup before continuing.
Once your venue is set, click Create New Venue Staff.
On the next screen, you’ll see that both your Marquee and Venue are already assigned—so everything you add will be correctly linked.
You’ll see a list of available staff placements, with additional roles available under the “Add More” dropdown.
To begin, click the +Add button under a staff position.
From here, you can:
When creating a new staff member, you’ll enter two fields:
If multiple people share the same role, simply separate each name with a line break (press Enter). This ensures clean formatting in your Marquee.
Once complete, click Submit to add the staff member.
Repeat this process for as many staff positions as needed. You can mix and match existing and new staff to quickly build out your team.
When you’re finished, click Submit to save your Venue Staff.
