Treebeard, one of the oldest living beings in Middle-earth, brings centuries of slow thought and deep-rooted presence to the role of Audrey II. Though not typically inclined toward musical theatre, he was persuaded by the promise of “a rather interesting little plant.” His performance grows steadily throughout the show—so do keep an eye on him.
