Movement Direction

LORENZO PISONI is an actor, choreographer, and movement artist whose career bridges physical theatre, circus, and Broadway performance. Raised in a family of circus performers, he developed a distinctive physical vocabulary that combines theatrical precision with an instinctive understanding of storytelling through movement. His Broadway appearances include Equus and Henry IV, and his solo work Humor Abuse drew upon his childhood in the Pickle Family Circus. For this imagined production, Pisoni develops a physical language through which a single actor can suggest an entire society of sharply differentiated characters.
