Héctor Flores Jr. (Director/Choreographer) is a gay NewYoRican multi-hyphenate artist whose work lives at the intersection of theatre, dance, and community. His Mill Mountain Theatre credits include In the Heights, Matilda, Elf, Margaritaville, Cabaret, and Finding Nemo. Select Off-Broadway and regional credits include Xena: Warrior Musical, Love & Yogurt, West Side Story, and In the Heights.

A lifelong dancer and ballroom artist, Héctor ranked in the Top 6 in multiple categories at the 2016 Fred Astaire World Ballroom Championships. Upon returning to New York, he is thrilled to join the team at Big Apple Ballroom.

Héctor is also the co-founder and President of Theatre Barn Records, a branch of NewYorkTheatreBarn - a non-profit dedicated to developing new musicals and supporting the artists who bring them to life.
