Chris Shepard is honored to return to MMT and humbled to be surrounded by such talent. He was last seen on this stage reprising the role of Heck Tate in To Kill A Mockingbird. Most recently, Chris portrayed Thomas Jefferson in 1776 at Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest and Bill Fordham in August: Osage County. Other favorite credits include roles as Jesus in both Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell, Juror #7 in 12 Angry Men, Berger in Hair, and Bill Sikes in Oliver!. Chris lives in Roanoke with his wife and cat, where he enjoys cooking vegetarian cuisine and dutifully poking the bear as an arguably competent and incendiary singer-songwriter.
