Our mission is to harness the power of digital technology to amplify the connection between audiences and the live event experience.
Marquee Digital has built its foundation at the intersection of the Arts and Technology. We help businesses and arts organizations maximize audience engagement by extending the reach of their live event programming into the digital realm and increasing the relevance of traditional arts and events in the eyes of the modern theatergoer. We already know that the next generation of consumers demands a fundamental shift in the way organizations build products and conduct business, and we focus on implementing emerging technologies to meet those demands. With a business model that is eco-conscious, fully accessible, and socially responsible at its core, we help our clients clarify, realize, and implement digital program solutions that exceed the expectations of yesterday’s audience, and delight the audience of tomorrow.
Marquee Digital specializes in interactive, paperless live event programs that meet the needs of a 21st century audience. Accessed by QR code, the Marquee is a digital-native program that is contactless, waste-free, and fully ADA-compliant. Our interactive interface facilitates direct audience engagement with viewers both in-person and remote, while our agile platform provides the opportunity for up-to-date editing and last minute changes with minimal lead time. With a design that is sleek, eco-friendly, and user-focused, Marquee Digital provides programs for live, virtual, and hybrid event models, all at a fraction of the cost of paper printing.

The Marquee is designed with the goal of creating the best user experience possible. With a streamlined, intuitive, and innately user-friendly interface, QR code activation uses native tech to allow program access to any smartphone user, whether on the Lincoln Center campus or at home.
Digital programs allow audiences to connect with the live event experience more deeply than ever before. By highlighting direct engagement with artists, creatives, and local culture through social media and digital marketing, we leverage the reach of the digital realm to transcend the divide between event and attendee, facilitating real, human-to-human interaction through a purely virtual medium.
The Marquee was born out of a time of great upheaval as a way to bring the theatregoer closer to the theatrical experience. But beyond its basic purpose as an informational tool, the Marquee created an opportunity to centralize and directly engage the myriad aspects that make the live arts so special. It functions as a conduit between artist and audience member, local business and producing organization, and corporate sponsors and the communities they affect. The Marquee offers a unified digital hub accessible on a pocket-sized device–anytime, anywhere, and to anyone at all.

Proposed Structure:
The ABOUT section contains information about both Lincoln Center and Summer for the City, highlighting sponsors, donors, and the people and organizations that make the event possible.
EVENTS focuses on the individual performances, with a full schedule linking to unique pages for each. These event pages contain one or more photos and a description of the event, with additional space to include bios, headshots, and links to the websites and social media channels of the presenting artists involved.
The LOCAL section houses an array of profiles for food and beverage establishments on and around Lincoln Center’s campus, and presents opportunities for strategic partnerships and targeted promotions.
In the ENGAGE section, audience members will find a donate button to support the work of Lincoln Center and Summer for the City, as well as social media channels and news coverage for both the organization and the event.
Marquee Digital is prepared to furnish programs for Summer for the City beginning with performances in mid-June and continuing through the conclusion of the 2022 season.
This process would include an approximate two-week content collection and facilitation period (Phase I), during which time Lincoln Center would supply Marquee Digital with the corresponding information for each of the ~200 remaining events, and Marquee Digital would build out the program as a whole. The live Marquee would be deployed in two phases, with events through July 15 becoming available as of June 15 (Phase II), and events through the end of the season becoming available on or before July 1 (Phase II).
White-labeling is available. This option maintains the Marquee’s intrinsic structure but removes Marquee Digital’s signature style and branding; this would involve a short design workshop to assess implementation of Lincoln Center’s brand values and aesthetics.
Platform maintenance beyond July 1 and additional development or integration requests may incur an additional fee; price to be provided based on scope
