Lori Thomson

Lori Thomson is a visual artist who currently lives in Lansdale, PA. Lori combines different mediums using sewing and quilting techniques with felt, cotton, acrylic and wood.

She states, “My art is a reminder that we are all small pieces to a giant puzzle; that we are privileged to experience the warmth of the sun, the coolness of rain, the dreaminess of clouds and once in a while the magic of a rainbow.”

Born and raised in Long Island, NY, Lori has been sewing since she was a teenager. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Apparel Management, she worked for over 10 years in the Visual Display industry. She combines all of her skills into creating bold and colorful fiber art and kinetic sculptures. Lori has been featured in Grid Magazine and Philly Current Magazine.
