K. Monet

My name is Kalin Monet Brown but I also go by K. Monet. I am a self-taught Artist and Designer with a degree in Architectural Technology from NYIT. With a strong passion for the arts, I started exhibiting my artwork shortly after graduation, in 2017. Starting with 2D works on paper I found myself exploring a variety of mediums using my fascination of nature in the night and the universe to symbolize different facets of life. I create to creatively share my experiences and perception of the world; to provide a beam of light for those lost in the dark. While my experience may differ, you can always view one of my works knowing that you have someone who understands and can connect with you. Art is so visually powerful and can change the course of history in some cases even if it starts with just one person.
