Cody TheCreative

Cody is a multi-faceted artist exploring many genres and styles, thoughtfully mixing and matching metaphors as he goes. For this reason, his work can at times be difficult to categorize, yet always easy to spot.

Cody grew up in New York, drawing at just two years old, but in adolescence he fell off the art wagon.

It wasn't until taking a life-drawing elective to finish his Creative Writing degree at SUNY Purchase - that he only took for the easy ‘A’ - that his love for art was reignited. Before he knew it, he was the teacher's assistant (for no credit!), and when Cody took a summer class with landscape artist Todd Gordon in 2013, everything changed for good. Todd inspired Cody to explore nature as a subject and this exploration of art through nature (or nature through art) has become one of Cody's favorite endeavors.
