Cid Roberts is a New York City based photographer and visual artist, who’s work focuses on New York City, the urban cultural landscape in America, and the experience of navigating the two as a gay Latinx cis man. Published works include the zine, Projections (2019) and the book All This Change Is Making Me Wet: Photos of SoHo during public unrest amidst civil and racial injustice (2021), both examining the impact on one’s identity and existence, from social issues effecting the marginalized, oppressed and under represented. His work has been featured in Musée Magazine, Artist Talk, W42ST Magazine, and The New York CIty Style Guide. New York exhibitions at Van Der Plas Gallery and La Ventana 533, and he is an Art Show International award winner. Cid’s mission is to make art that empowers audiences to embrace each others differences by seeing more of each other in ourselves. He currently resides in Chelsea, New York City with his dog Bastian.
