Every incredible design need quality crafts people to implement it. Behind the scenes, stagehands, props, carps, electricians, etc... create the magic and maintain the vision of designers. In North America, stagehands are represented by the labor union IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees). We'll hear from some of the great stagehands in New York City, how they view their contribution to the artistic process, the value of a supportive union, life as a professional stagehand, and more insights from those working in the wings.
