Christian Gade Bjerrum

Christian Gade Bjerrum co-founded Bæredygtig Scenekunst NU with Jacob Teglgaard in January 2020. Being an actor by profession and climate activist by passion, Christian and partner Jacob are leading the process of transforming the performing arts industry in Denmark into a more sustainable industry. "It's not enough anymore to just produce stories for the stage about climate change–we need to be the change too." With this approach, Christian and Jacob have engaged almost the whole performing arts industry in Denmark to rethink themselves as role models and make them take a greater responsible part in meeting the most threatening crisis we face at this time: the climate crisis.
